To update ACS, choose Help, then Update, from the ACS menu. ACS opens the ACS update page, , in your web browser, and then closes so the update can be installed.
From the update page, download and run the ACS setup program, ACS-5-Setup.exe, on your single user computer or on your server. When it finishes, start ACS again. Client computers in a client/server installation do not need to be updated by hand. Install updates only while your ACS support is current.
If you know the purpose of the update, check as soon as possible that it fixes the problem you expected.
Update does not appear on the Help menu in a client/server installation.
