Payroll Departmental Register | ACS Payroll Help

Print the departmental portion of the payroll register for the current payroll period ending date. It lists employees within departments and provides department and overall totals.

Using this option

  1. Confirm the current payroll period ending date and that the checks for that period have been calculated.
  2. Choose Utilities > Payroll Departmental Register. The standalone option goes directly to print output; it does not ask for a date range.
  3. Review each department's employees, hours, pay, and deductions, then reconcile the totals with Payroll Registers.

Notes

Only payroll-check records whose payroll date matches the current payroll period ending date are included. A blank or incomplete report can indicate a date mismatch rather than missing checks.

Department names come from Department Names. Employees assigned to multiple departments can appear in more than one department.

The program's screen caption may be Payroll Registers; this menu option produces the departmental report, also known as part 2 of the register.
